Anastasia began teaching in our Rhythmic Gymnastics program in the spring of 2004, and has added several MiniStar classes to her schedule in the fall of 2005. She is U.S.A.G. Safety Certified, First Aid and C.P.R. Certified. Anastasia started training as a Rhythmic Gymnast at the tender age of five. By the time she was attending high school in the former Soviet Union, she was placed in a special school for the national team. She trained in the morning and the evening, and studied in between. Anastasia graduated with a degree in Management and Accounting, but when her family came to the U.S. in 2000, she longed to return to the gym. In Russia she had coached for three years, teaching both Rhythmic Gymnastics and Movement for Kindergarteners. We have found Anastasia to be an extremely knowledgeable coach, who has a great love of both children and Rhythmic Gymnastics.
