Ellen has been a gymnast most of her life, starting classes at age 3 and advancing to Level 8. She was crowned State All-Around Champion for both Level 5 and Level 7 – an awe-inspiring accomplishment to win States as both a compulsory and optional gymnast. In high school, Ellen has retired from competitive gymnastics and in the fall of 2005 began coaching at Gold Star. She has years of experience babysitting, which strengthened her already fantastic manner with children. Ellen enthusiastically greets everyone with a kind word and a smile; she keeps the students active, on-task, and safe while helping them to learn good gymnastics techniques. Do not let her youthfulness fool you, Ellen mastered the sport as a gymnast and she is well on her way to mastering it as a coach. She is one of the brightest and the best.
