Kim began coaching the GSG All-Star Cheer team in 2002, and took on the challenge of MiniStars and recreational gymnasts in 2004. Currently working towards a nursing degree at DeAnza College, she is U.S.A. Gymnastics Safety Certified, First Aid and C.P.R. certified. Kim has cheered competitively since 1995 with her high school, Pop Warner, and Gold Star. Her teams have qualified for several National Cheer Competitions every year since 1998. She is now a member of Gold Star's new College Funk Cheer Squad. Her extensive knowledge of tumbling and stunting has helped to raise the level of our Mini and Junior Cheer squad. Her energy and dedication have pushed the cheerleaders to achieve more than they could have believed. This same enthusiasm and focus have captivated our preschool and recreational students as well, as Kim has become a favorite of many children through the gym.
