Magie has been a welcome guest at Gold Star since 1996 when the gym began but finally became a member of the staff in the summer of 2006. Magie has the illustrious honor of being parent, aunt, godmother, and grandmother to several members of our GSG staff and students, and as such is well-loved by all. She has over twenty years of experience as a bookkeeper, office manager, and receptionist; and has graciously come to share her already hectic schedule with us to assist our office manager with our bookkeeping. Magie is especially valuable to us because she understands the gym and the world of teaching; with over twenty years of experience coaching cheerleading for Pop Warner and over thirty years as an active member of the local dance community in the capacity of dancer, choreographer, and teacher, and has her CPR / First Aid Certifications. In Magie we have been given a windfall of expertise and efficiency.
