Paul came to Gold Star in the spring of 2006 after an illustrious career in competitive gymnastics. He began taking classes when he was in elementary school in Ireland and proceeded to compete internationally on the Irish Junior National Team, ultimately becoming All-Around Champion for the Senior National Team. He came to the Bay Area in the 1980’s and has been coaching ever since. He is certified in CPR and First Aid, and also holds a USA Gymnastics Safety Certification. Between balancing his job in one of Silicon Valley’s many start-up tech companies and with his wife and two beautiful daughters, he finds time to coach our girls and boys competitive teams. Paul’s constant smile and good nature give him an easy manner with our gymnasts. His distinction in the sport provides our students with an unparalleled source of knowledge. He represents the best of Gold Star, and we are proud to have him with us.
