Ruth began coaching for Gold Star in the spring of 2006, but has been on our All-Star Cheer Teams since 2003. Before coming to cheerleading Ruth was an artistic gymnast competing through Level 6 and winning first place on Vault in the State Competition! She had experience as a preschool and birthday party coach at one of our other local gymnastics clubs, and came to Gold Star wanting more time with the kids. Ruth received her USA Gymnastics Safety Certification in 2006, and we are excited to add her to Camp, MiniStar, and Girls Recreational programs. Ruth is a leader in our senior cheer and hip hop squads, pushing her teammates and her tumbling to new heights in every practice. This same enthusiasm she brings to coaching, combining her naturally sweet personality with a love of the sport and an energetic style of teaching.
