Serge began coaching at Gold Star in the summer of 2005. He
assisted with boys and girls school-age classes throughout the summer, and then
earned his USA Gymnastics Safety Certification, C.P.R. and First Aid Certifications.
In the fall of 2005, Serge took over his own classes, becoming a favorite coach
for many students. His love of movement stems from years of training in martial
arts, folk and ballroom dance, later adding competitive volleyball to his schedule.
Serge came to GSG after having taught dance to children at a local community
center, where he discovered his passion for coaching. The minute he walks in
the gym, he will impress you with his enthusiasm, a sheer blast of energy and
animation in every class he teaches. His commitment and dedication to the gym
is unquestioned. We are proud to call him one of our own.
