Amanda began in our Recreational Gymnastics classes, moving through and ultimately become a competitive gymnast for Gold Star--training Level 6. Amanda received her U.S.A. Gymnastics Safety Certification and is C.P.R. and First Aid certified. When she competed Level 4 for Gold Star she had an entire season of standing at the top of the podium. In every meet during 2006 Amanda received at least one, if not two, often three gold medals! A truly amazing accomplishment! Reluctantly Amanda had to leave the sport in the winter of 2008, and we immediately hired her as a coach in the spring. She is the perfect fit for Gold Star because she was raised in our kid-friendly, fun-filled environment. Her love of the gym and the sport is instantaneously passed on to her students and reflected her constant smile.
