Corinna began working at Gold Star in the spring of 2011.  She came to us from another local gym where she had taught children from preschool through pre-team levels since 2009, and taught swimming lessons and lifeguarded since 2006.  Corinna was a competitive gymnast, advancing through Level 7, and came to Gold Star via our adult gymnastics classes.  She has her First Aid, C.P.R., and USA Gymnastics Safety certifications, plus has completed the PreSchool Fundamentals Course through USA Gymnastics.   Corinna works by day as a web developer for a local start-up company, and graduates from San Jose State this year with her Bachelor’s in Information Systems, while also applying to law schools.  She has been a natural fit to our gym, and an fabulous addition to both our MiniStar program and our highest levels of girls recreational classes, not mention her awe-inspiring talent for teaching beginner recreational boys classes. We are delighted that her encouraging and engaging teaching style will be part of our gym for the next few years.
