Kim began coaching the GSG All-Star Cheer team in 2002, and took on the challenge of MiniStars and recreational gymnasts in 2004. She is currently attending San Jose State majoring in Child Development, and has U.S.A. Gymnastics Safety, First Aid and C.P.R. certifications, and a U.S. All-Star Federation Level 5 Certification for Cheer and Dance Teams. Kim has cheered competitively since 1995 with her high school, Pop Warner, and Gold Star teams. Her squads have qualified for several National Cheer Competitions every year since 1998. She is a member of Gold Star's College Hip Hop team. Her focus and organizational skills have promoted her to a leadership position in our Cheer program. Her extensive knowledge of tumbling and stunting has helped to raise the level of our Mini, Youth, Junior, and Senior Cheer squads. This same enthusiasm and focus have captivated our preschool and recreational students as well, as Kim has become a favorite of many children through the gym.
