Yousef came to Gold Star in the winter of 2010. He began teaching gymnastics in 2006 at one of our neighboring clubs and continues to teach in both facilities. He has a U.S.A. Gymnastics Safety Certification, and is CPR and First Aid certified. Originally brought on staff to help with the boys competitive program, Yousef proved immediately to be an extremely versatile coach. He is currently teaching in our recreational boys and girls gymnastics program, our adult classes, preschoolers, and our boys team. His mornings are spent taking college classes, but in the afternoons you can find him bounding around our gym. Yousef is the definition of charismatic, coming onto the floor with a seemingly unending supply of energy and an infectious smile. He is so excited about the sport and coaching that the kids cannot help but adore him. We feel extremely lucky to have him as one of our own.
