Zoe began working at Gold Star in the winter of 2011.  She comes to us from the MidWest with a wonderful teaching base.  She was a Level 9 gymnast – just two levels before the Olympic team, and a State Champion during one of her compulsory seasons.  Along with being a gymnast, she also rode horses, competing in jumping and performing at rodeos.  She is CPR and First Aid certified, and currently in college majoring in Environmental Studies.  Although she has only been coaching since 2008, she is a natural coach, displaying the confidence and knowledge of a seasoned veteran.  Zoe has a fantastic rapport with the children, an easy attitude with the staff, a keen eye paired with an innate ability to break down a skill and communicate corrections clearly to even the youngest gymnast.  She has quickly been pulled into our highest Recreational Level classes, assists with our Girls Artistic Teams, and shows a real affinity for the preschoolers.  We feel extremely lucky that she came through our doors and we can now call her one of our own!
